Darkness

Why is there darkness all around?
Is that the labyrinth of sorrow or a whirlpool of grief?
Sometimes I wonder if there is any relief...
Hope is an extinct specie on the face of mother earth!!
There is destruction all around and the devil has a smirk...
A lady called death is waiting with arms wide open...
The agony is enormous and the pain comes often!!
The women are crying and the children are lost..
O mighty lord, is that the end or just the start?
Death completes the agony and birth begins the pain...
Why is there darkness all around again?
